Hi, I’m Scarlett, a Norfolk-based calligrapher with a passion for beautiful lettering and meaningful details.

My calligraphy journey started in 2020 when lockdown hit and I needed a hobby…

At the time, I was about a year away from getting married and I thought it would be lovely to write some place cards for our big day. Fast forward to June 2022, a year later than planned (thanks a lot COVID), I was not only able to write those place cards, but also create all of our on-the-day stationery, beautiful signage and bridal party keepsakes.

Over the last few years, I have really enjoyed working with couples, individuals, and brands to create bespoke pieces that feel personal and lasting. I love being able to add a unique touch to all of life’s special moments.

Whether I’m addressing envelopes for a wedding, creating a custom artwork, or teaching a workshop, I believe calligraphy should feel special, intentional, and full of character.

My Approach

‘‘Scarlett was hands down one of the best wedding suppliers to contact, work with and arrange things with and nothing was too much trouble. Cannot recommend Scarlett enough to anyone looking for calligraphy work.’’

Katie, Bride

Thoughtful, personal, and entirely bespoke.

No two projects are ever the same, and I believe your calligraphy should reflect that. I take the time to understand each client, their story, and the details that matter most, ensuring every piece feels considered and unique.

From initial ideas to the final flourish, I work closely with you to create something that feels truly personal—whether it’s wedding stationery, a special commission, or a workshop experience. My approach is collaborative, detail-led, and always tailored to you.
